Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Landscape with red house and green shutters Painted circa 1922-1923 by George Leslie Hunter. The price achieved of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 6,614.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Leslie Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Tulips And Oranges in April 2009 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 484,118.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape with red house and green shutters Painted circa 1922-1923 von George Leslie Hunter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 6.614,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Leslie Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Tulips And Oranges im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 484.118,60).
