Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Path, with Hillside Village Painted circa 1922-1923 by George Leslie Hunter was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Leslie Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Tulips And Oranges in April 2009 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 484,118.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Path, with Hillside Village Painted circa 1922-1923 von George Leslie Hunter kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.167,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Leslie Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Tulips And Oranges im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 484.118,60).
