Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 30,550.00 (€ 32,750.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Copeland Ault achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Plough and the Moon in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 687,500.00 (€ 609,107.82).
