The work Dark Landscape by George Campbell was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in April 2008. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 637.43) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Campbell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Evening In Connemara in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,167.01).
