Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A collection of Continental views including: On the Seine; Tankerville; A cart and figures on a beach at low tide; Alcantara (illustrated); A figure before a ruined castle; A cowherd with his herd; and Figures on a horse-drawn cart on their way to ma by George Bryant Campion was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not e Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Bryant Campion achieve. Als die Arbeit A collection of Continental views including: On the Seine; Tankerville; A cart and figures on a beach at low tide; Alcantara (illustrated); A figure before a ruined castle; A cowherd with his herd; and Figures on a horse-drawn cart on their way to ma von George Bryant Campion im November 2010 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit [An exploration vessel anchored in Arctic waters with the crew rowing ashore; and The crew defending themselves from an attack by a polar bear whilst rowing ashore (both il
