Auction result misses estimated price range

The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not e Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Bryant Campion achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An exploration vessel anchored in Arctic waters with the crew rowing ashore; and The crew defending themselves from an attack by a polar bear whilst rowing ashore (both illustrated) in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,215.61).
