Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by George Benjamin Luks could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Woolworth Building changed hands for USD 4,063.00 (€ 3,160.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Benjamin Luks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Williams in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,874,500.00 (€ 1,515,482.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von George Benjamin Luks konnte im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
