Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sängerin (The Singer) - Recto Untitled - Verso by Georg Tappert was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, auction at Sothebys in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 79,681.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georg Tappert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Geisha-Revue“. in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 709,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sängerin (The Singer) - Recto Untitled - Verso von Georg Tappert wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 79.681,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Tappert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Geisha-Revue“. im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 709.000,00.
