Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georg Karl Pfahler could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction, the work Two Plates, from Ost-West Transit (2 works) changed hands for USD 576.00 (€ 531.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georg Karl Pfahler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Ost-Ost Transit Nr. 2“. in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 50,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Karl Pfahler konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash wechselte die Arbeit Two Plates, from Ost-West Transit (2 works) für USD 576,00 (€ 531,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georg Karl Pfahler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Ost-Ost Transit Nr. 2“. im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.000,00.
