This artwork by Georg Guðni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work without title sold for SEK 180,000.00 (€ 15,913.04) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 100,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georg Guðni; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October last year with the realized price of SEK 270,000.00 (€ 24,706.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Guðni erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für SEK 180.000,00 (€ 15.913,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 100.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georg Guðni; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 270.000,00 (€ 24.706,06).
