Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Burfell" by Georg Guðni was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2013. The price achieved of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 4,040.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georg Guðni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of SEK 270,000.00 (€ 24,706.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Burfell" von Georg Guðni kam im November 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 4.040,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Guðni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 270.000,00 (€ 24.706,06).
