Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jetty by Gede Mahendra Yasa was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,791.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gede Mahendra Yasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Origen's Gambit in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,750,000.00 (€ 188,414.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jetty von Gede Mahendra Yasa wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.791,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gede Mahendra Yasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Origen's Gambit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.750.000,00 (€ 188.414,02).
