Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work A pair of tavern scenes with peasants drinking, dancing and making music by Gaspare Diziani. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,731.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gaspare Diziani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alexander And Diogenes in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 142,604.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A pair of tavern scenes with peasants drinking, dancing and making music von Gaspare Diziani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.731,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaspare Diziani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alexander And Diogenes im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 142.604,07).
