Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Toilette of Venus by Gaspare Diziani. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,528.38). Admittedly, works by Gaspare Diziani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alexander And Diogenes in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 142,604.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Toilette of Venus von Gaspare Diziani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.760,00 (€ 30.528,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaspare Diziani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alexander And Diogenes im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 142.604,07).
