In the From Taddeo to Tiepolo: The Dr. John O’Brien Collection of Old Master Drawings auction, the work The Lamentation at the Foot of the Cross changed hands for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,661.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaspare Diziani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alexander And Diogenes in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 142,604.07).
