Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 6,722.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gary Ernest Smith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cabbage Field Harvest , which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,855.28).
