In April 2019 Phillips in Bidding Closes held the auction Unbound: Online Auction, which included the work Untitled (Grey #3) by Garth Weiser. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,785.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Garth Weiser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,299.29).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2019 führte Phillips in Bidding Closes die Auktion Unbound: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Grey #3) von Garth Weiser zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.785,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Garth Weiser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.299,29).
