Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italy, 2008 by Garry Shead was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in August 2021. The price achieved of AUD 16,605.00 (€ 14,072.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Garry Shead achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Queen Of Suburbia in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 432,000.00 (€ 258,325.93).

Die Arbeit Italy, 2008 von Garry Shead kam im August 2021 bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 16.605,00 (€ 14.072,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
