Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady by Gai Qi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,662.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gai Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work literati elegant gathering in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 133,149.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady von Gai Qi kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.662,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gai Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit literati elegant gathering im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 133.149,67).
