Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lady In A Bamboo Grove by Gai Qi was sold in the Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III auction at POLY in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 22,800.00 (€ 2,675.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gai Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work literati elegant gathering in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 133,149.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lady In A Bamboo Grove von Gai Qi wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 22.800,00 (€ 2.675,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gai Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit literati elegant gathering im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 133.149,67).
