Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Ladies In The Garden by Gai Qi was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June 2021. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,769.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gai Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work literati elegant gathering in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 133,149.67).

Die Arbeit Two Ladies In The Garden von Gai Qi kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.769,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gai Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit literati elegant gathering im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 133.149,67).
