A top price for Gabriel Deschamps - as previously expected
In February 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Panorame D'Eze by Gabriel Deschamps. The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,897.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Panorame D'Eze is the most expensive artwork by Gabriel Deschamps that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Panorame D'Eze von Gabriel Deschamps zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.897,65) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Panorame D'Eze das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gabriel Deschamps, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
