This artwork by Gabriel Deschamps achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the British and European Art auction, the work Vue De Saint-Paul-De-Vence sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,191.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gabriel Deschamps - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Panorame D'Eze, which sold at auction in February 2009 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,897.65).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gabriel Deschamps erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Vue De Saint-Paul-De-Vence für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.191,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gabriel Deschamps mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Panorame D'Eze beobachtet, die im Februar 2009 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.897,65) versteigert wurde.
