Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 896.00 (€ 1,038.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gabriel Deschamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Panorame D'Eze in February 2009 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,897.65).
