Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Bastidon dans la campagne by Gabriel Deschamps. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,344.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gabriel Deschamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Panorame D'Eze in February 2009 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,897.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bastidon dans la campagne von Gabriel Deschamps zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.344,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gabriel Deschamps auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Panorame D'Eze im Februar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.897,65).
