This artwork by Fumio Yamazaki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Silent Neighbors: Double Headed Horse, Ewe, and Ram sold for HKD 114,000.00 (€ 10,855.13) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fumio Yamazaki - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Silent Neighbour, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 362,500.00 (€ 42,534.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fumio Yamazaki erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Silent Neighbors: Double Headed Horse, Ewe, and Ram für HKD 114.000,00 (€ 10.855,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fumio Yamazaki mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Silent Neighbour beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 362.500,00 (€ 42.534,56) versteigert wurde.
