This artwork by Fumio Yamazaki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Silent Neighbors sold for HKD 427,500.00 (€ 35,194.57) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fumio Yamazaki; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Silent Neighbour sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of HKD 362,500.00 (€ 42,534.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fumio Yamazaki erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Silent Neighbors für HKD 427.500,00 (€ 35.194,57) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fumio Yamazaki; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Silent Neighbour im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 362.500,00 (€ 42.534,56).
