Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Silent Neighbor by Fumio Yamazaki was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 72,000.00 (€ 7,708.73), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fumio Yamazaki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Silent Neighbour in May 2015 with an auction result of HKD 362,500.00 (€ 42,534.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Silent Neighbor von Fumio Yamazaki wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 7.708,73) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fumio Yamazaki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Silent Neighbour im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 362.500,00 (€ 42.534,56).
