The work Silent Neighbor by Fumio Yamazaki was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 8,351.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Fumio Yamazaki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Silent Neighbour in May 2015 with an auction result of HKD 362,500.00 (€ 42,534.56).

Die Arbeit Silent Neighbor von Fumio Yamazaki kam im April 2021 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 8.351,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fumio Yamazaki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Silent Neighbour im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 362.500,00 (€ 42.534,56).
