Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Horn 2 by Fumio Yamazaki. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,591.47). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fumio Yamazaki - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Silent Neighbour, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 362,500.00 (€ 42,534.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horn 2 von Fumio Yamazaki zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.591,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fumio Yamazaki mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Silent Neighbour beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 362.500,00 (€ 42.534,56) versteigert wurde.
