Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Horses by Frits Klein was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 8,225.00 (€ 3,953.32). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frits Klein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein, which sold at auction in June 2017 for EUR 12,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Horses von Frits Klein wurde im Juni 2001 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 8.225,00 (€ 3.953,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Frits Klein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
