In the The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online auction, the work Six prints by the artist sold for USD 11,340.00 (€ 10,271.74) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Composition No. 42“. in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 350,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Sale of the Century: An Important Corporate Collection of Prints and Multiples: Online wurde die Arbeit Six prints by the artist für USD 11.340,00 (€ 10.271,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Composition No. 42“. im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 350.000,00.
