Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition No. 125 by Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Works on Paper and Day Sale Morning including The Analytical Eye: The Branco Weiss Collection auction at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,358.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Composition No. 42“. in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 350,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition No. 125 von Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Works on Paper and Day Sale Morning including The Analytical Eye: The Branco Weiss Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 58.358,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Composition No. 42“. im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 350.000,00.
