Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Friedrich Ludwig Vieth von Goldenau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A young lady, facing left in lace-bordered blue velvet dress, triple strand pearl necklace, flowers in her upswept dark curling fair, which sold at auction in April 2002 for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,125.37).
