Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A young lady, facing left in lace-bordered white dress with bow at corsage, silver-bordered pale green stole draped around her shoulders, her fair hair curled plaited and upswept by Friedrich Ludwig Vieth von Goldenau was sold in the OBJECTS OF VERTU, PORTRAIT MINIATURES AND ICONS auction at Christies in London in December 2002. The price achieved of GBP 376.00 (€ 577.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Friedrich Ludwig Vieth von Goldenau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A young lady, facing left in lace-bordered blue velvet dress, triple strand pearl necklace, flowers in her upswept dark curling fair in April 2002 with an auction result of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,125.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A young lady, facing left in lace-bordered white dress with bow at corsage, silver-bordered pale green stole draped around her shoulders, her fair hair curled plaited and upswept von Friedrich Ludwig Vieth von Goldenau wurde im Dezember 2002 in der Auktion OBJECTS OF VERTU, PORTRAIT MINIATURES AND ICONS bei Christies in London versteigert.
