Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,767.50 (€ 5,858.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fremont F. Ellis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Summer - Santa Fe, New Mexico in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 95,600.00 (€ 72,101.97).

Die Arbeit Road To The Hills In Autumn von Fremont F. Ellis kam im November 2004 bei Christies in Beverly Hills zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.767,50 (€ 5.858,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fremont F. Ellis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Summer - Santa Fe, New Mexico im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 95.600,00 (€ 72.101,97).
