Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Navajo Country by Fremont F. Ellis was auctioned at Christies in Beverly Hills in November 2004. The price achieved of USD 14,340.00 (€ 10,815.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fremont F. Ellis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Summer - Santa Fe, New Mexico in November 2004 with an auction result of USD 95,600.00 (€ 72,101.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Navajo Country von Fremont F. Ellis kam im November 2004 bei Christies in Beverly Hills zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 14.340,00 (€ 10.815,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fremont F. Ellis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Summer - Santa Fe, New Mexico im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 95.600,00 (€ 72.101,97).
