Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Minitrans" by Fredrik Wretman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,196.09). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fredrik Wretman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Goatrans", which sold at auction in October last year for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,235.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Minitrans" von Fredrik Wretman im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.196,09) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fredrik Wretman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Goatrans" beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.235,35) versteigert wurde.
