Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Up, Up and Away" by Fredrik Wretman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,201.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fredrik Wretman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Goatrans", which sold at auction in October last year for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,235.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Up, Up and Away" von Fredrik Wretman kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.201,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Fredrik Wretman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Goatrans" beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.235,35) versteigert wurde.
