Die Arbeit 'At Woolwich, London' von Frank William Scarbrough kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.432,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frank William Scarbrough auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pool of London; And London Bridge (Both Illustrated) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.400,00 (€ 16.640,29).
