Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Logging Team On A Winter Road by Frederick Simpson Coburn was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of CAD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CAD 16,800.00 (€ 12,552.32). Admittedly, works by Frederick Simpson Coburn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chatting On The Logging Trail in May 2011 with an auction result of CAD 129,000.00 (€ 92,622.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Logging Team On A Winter Road von Frederick Simpson Coburn kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CAD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CAD 16.800,00 (€ 12.552,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederick Simpson Coburn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chatting On The Logging Trail im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 129.000,00 (€ 92.622,29).
