Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Elegant Couple Promenading In The Jardin Du Luxembourg, Paris by Frederick Nash was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 1,019.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Frederick Nash have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Tothill Street with Westminster Abbey beyond; and View of Gracechurch Street with the Monument and the church of St. Magnus the Martyr beyond in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,636.18).

Die Arbeit An Elegant Couple Promenading In The Jardin Du Luxembourg, Paris von Frederick Nash kam im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 1.019,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederick Nash auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Tothill Street with Westminster Abbey beyond; and View of Gracechurch Street with the Monument and the church of St. Magnus the Martyr beyond im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.636,18).
