Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours, which included the work Keswick New Church Looking Into The Vale of Borrowdale, Cumberland by Frederick Nash. The price achieved of GBP 660.00 (€ 966.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Frederick Nash have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Tothill Street with Westminster Abbey beyond; and View of Gracechurch Street with the Monument and the church of St. Magnus the Martyr beyond in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,636.18).

Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Keswick New Church Looking Into The Vale of Borrowdale, Cumberland von Frederick Nash zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 660,00 (€ 966,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederick Nash auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Tothill Street with Westminster Abbey beyond; and View of Gracechurch Street with the Monument and the church of St. Magnus the Martyr beyond im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.636,18).
