This artwork by Fred Taylor achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2010. In the Travel and Vintage Posters auction, the work By Tram From Hammersmith, Wimbledon Or Shepherds Bush sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,585.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fred Taylor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work British Hong Kong, which sold at auction in October 2008 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,763.16).
