Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fountains Abbey, Lner by Fred Taylor was sold in the 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters auction at Bonhams in London in February last year. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 762.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Taylor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British Hong Kong in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,763.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fountains Abbey, Lner von Fred Taylor wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 762,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Taylor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British Hong Kong im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.763,16).
