Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work “Whitby” by Fred Taylor was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. Here, the estimate of DKK 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Taylor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British Hong Kong in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,763.16).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit “Whitby” von Fred Taylor kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Taylor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British Hong Kong im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.763,16).
