Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Underground. London Memories, Kew Gardens by Fred Taylor was sold in the Vintage Posters auction at Bonhams in London in February 2024. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 960.00 (€ 1,606.71), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fred Taylor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British Hong Kong in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,763.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Underground. London Memories, Kew Gardens von Fred Taylor wurde im Februar 2024 in der Auktion Vintage Posters bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.606,71) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fred Taylor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit British Hong Kong im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.763,16).
