A top price for Fred Taylor - as previously expected
In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work British Hong Kong by Fred Taylor. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,763.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, British Hong Kong is the most expensive artwork by Fred Taylor that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit British Hong Kong von Fred Taylor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.763,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist British Hong Kong das teuerste Kunstwerk von Fred Taylor, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
