This artwork by Franz Radziwill achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction, the work Innerhalb von 24 Stunden (Within 24 hours) sold for GBP 107,100.00 (€ 125,814.91) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Radziwill - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gespräch über einen Paragraphen, which sold at auction in June 2009 for EUR 356,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franz Radziwill erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso wurde die Arbeit Innerhalb von 24 Stunden (Within 24 hours) für GBP 107.100,00 (€ 125.814,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Radziwill mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gespräch über einen Paragraphen beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für EUR 356.240,00 versteigert wurde.
