Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Port D'Arles by Franz Priking was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in October 2015. The price achieved of EUR 1,820.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Priking - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life of fruit on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Port D'Arles von Franz Priking wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.820,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Priking mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86) versteigert wurde.
