Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature Morte Au Panier De Fleurs by Franz Priking was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in July 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,983.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Priking - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life of fruit on a table, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Panier De Fleurs von Franz Priking kam im Juli 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.983,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Priking mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life of fruit on a table beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86) versteigert wurde.
